Omry is a Professor at the Azrieli Faculty of Medicine, Bar-Ilan University. His main field of research is the human microbiome. Currently, his team’s research aims to better understand the interactions between microbiota and the host endocrine system, host behaviour, and host development, in health and in disease states. For the past five years he has also been part of the world’s highly cited researchers.
