Robert is a Principal Scientist in the Health, Nutrition and Care unit of DSM-Firmenich. He earned his PhD in GI physiology from ETH Zurich followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Adelaide. Robert joined DSM-Firmenich 2014 and has held several roles including R&D Segment Lead Gut-Health and Global Science Lead Biocar.e-Copenhagen. Robert also works part-time as Privatdozent at Zurich University and serves as co-chair of the scientific committee of IPA. He has co-authored >70 peer-reviewed publications and 15 patents.
