Robert is Principal Scientist in Health, Nutrition & Care at DSM-Firmenich, leading research in gut health and microbiome solutions. He earned a PhD in Nutrition and Gastrointestinal Physiology from ETH Zurich and completed postdoctoral research at The University of Adelaide. In addition to his work at DSM-Firmenich, Robert is Adj. Ass. Professor (University of Adelaide), Privatdozent (University of Zurich) and served as co-chair of the scientific committee of the International Probiotics Association. He has co-authored 80+ publications and 15+ patents.
