Deyan is a Doctor in food science, physiology, and health, specialising in diabetes, metabolism, and related comorbidities. He earned a Cum Laude International Industrial PhD from the University of Navarra, focusing on probiotics for type 2 diabetes prevention. Currently an R&D Senior Scientist at Genbioma, he leads microbiome research and quality control. With prior roles in probiotic evaluation and international experience at Teagasc, Ireland, Deyan’s pharmacy background supports his contributions to health innovation, scientific projects, and global collaborations.
