Shinichi has contributed to R&D of supplement ingredients for the past 20 years. He received a Ph.D degree for research on nutrigemics, which elucidates the relationship between nutrition, health and the genome. Currently, his main role is the development of the new products focused on the relationship between microbiome and human health, together with Kaneka’s partner AB-BIOTICS.
