Mathieu holds a BS in Biology, an MS in Applied Microbiology, and a PhD in Biology and Microbiology from the University of Quebec in Montreal, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in probiotics at INRS-IAF. Since 2009, he has been Scientific Director for Bio-K+, and in 2020 he also became RDA Director for Digestive Health at Kerry. He leads research on probiotic mechanisms and microbiome interactions, is an Associate Professor at INRS-IAF, and has authored 65+ publications and several patents.
