Graduated in Pharmacy from the University of Granada (Spain), Mónica has a PhD in molecular biology from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). With more than 20 years of experience in R&D in functional ingredients, specifically in probiotic strains isolated from human milk, she is the author of 80 scientific publications and 8 patents. Mónica highlights the studies related to the application of probiotic strains in the treatment and prevention of lactational mastitis, as well as the studies on babies that demonstrate the benefits of probiotic strains.
