Jeremy, a microbiologist, has made key advancements in human microbiome research, especially urological health. Educated at the University of Otago, his research revealed unknown bacterial communities in the urogenital tract. He led microbiome research in industry, returning to academia in 2011. Jeremy’s work focuses on biofilms, antibiotics, probiotics, and the microbiome's health impacts, leading the Canadian Fermented Foods Initiative.
