Wilbert PhD MBA has been active for over 20 years in Nutrition, Health and Innovation. His main expertise relates to R&D of probiotics, prebiotics and other microbiome modulating ingredients, including bacteriophages. In 2021 Wilbert founded Microbiome Solutions, a Swiss consultancy firm serving organisations in end-to-end innovation and value creation in the human microbiome area. Wilbert is also co-founder of Yoba for Life Foundation (increasing health & wealth in Africa), Crispatus Foundation (women’s health) and teaches Food Biotechnology at EPFL in Lausanne.
