Sandrine obtained a PhD from Paris-Cité University in 2003. Since 2018, she has joined the Commensals and Probiotics-Host Interactions Laboratory led by Dr. Philippe Langella to work on both commensals and probiotics bacteria. She particularly studies the adaptation mechanisms of bacteria of the Faecalibacterium genus to oxidative stress generated in a context of intestinal inflammation.
