Prof Robert J Brummer

Robert’s main field of research is the nutrition/microbe-gut-brain interactions with special reference to the human application both towards optimising health and preventing and treating disease. He is also Senior Consultant in Gastroenterology and Clinical Nutrition at Örebro University, the Director of the "Nutrition-Gut-Brain Interactions Research Centre" and the national research centre; "Plant-based proteins for Health and Wellbeing - PAN Sweden." Alongside his other roles, Robert is also Director of the University Profile Area "Food and Health" encompassing all Faculties and Schools of Örebro University.
