Cinzia is an associate professor in Food Microbiology at the University of Catania, CEO of ProbioEtna Spin-off, University of Catania and a member of the American Society of Microbiology (AEM). Her research activity is carried out in the field of food microbiology, and in the biotechnological and functional implications of probiotic cultures for the formulation of innovative and/ or functional foods and ingredients, with a special application on Women's Health.
