Paulo obtained his PhD in Applied Statistics at the Swiss federal institute of technology, in Lausanne (EPFL), under the supervision of Prof. Stephan Morgenthaler, and Dr. Per Ekstrom. During that time, they established the technological foundation that would lead the team to found REM Analytics, to bring novel measurement tools to the field of microbiome. In 2021, Paulo also joined the YONI Solutions team, to bring personalised probiotics to women's health.
